Dog training made easy!

Thank you for choosing Devoted2Dogs.  I am located on the Upper East Side of New York, City.  I serve the Upper East Side and Upper West Side.  Please feel free to inquire if you are in another part of New York City.  I provide compassionate training for dogs and their people!  I chose the name “Devoted2Dogs” because my passion in life is working, helping, and learning about dogs.  The first dog I rescued, Allie, drove me out of my mind with her chewing, barking, and separation anxiety issues. I read every book I could find about those issues, took her to a dozen trainers, walked her endlessly, and tried dozens of different training methods.  I had a year of dog training under my belt when I decided to study dog behavior more seriously and do an apprenticeship in order to help Allie and dogs like her.  My hard work paid off and Allie became much happier and easier to live with.  Her success made me want to become a dog trainer and learn even more about dog behavior.  My 15 years of dog training is built on my experience working in animal shelters, volunteering in animal rescue, working with client's dogs, fostering dogs, and through study.  I have a background in animal science and various certifications.  Through these experiences I’ve developed various methods to work with dogs.  I use positive reinforcement and force free methods.  Each method differs because each dog is unique.  What works for one dog won't necessarily work for the next dog.  I create a special training program for each dog with specific goals for the pet parent(s) and dog(s).
